We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to delete your Casitana account and what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

If you can sign in

Sign in at casitana.com. Go to Account → Privacy → Delete account. Enter your password to confirm. Your account is deactivated immediately.

If you cannot sign in

Email [email protected] from the email address registered on your account. Use the subject line “Account deletion request”. We'll verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with GDPR Article 17.

What gets deleted

• Account information (name, email, phone, password)
• Property listings, calendar data, pricing rules
• Bookings, guests, and guest registration submissions
• Documents, invoices, and uploaded files
• Contacts (cleaning, maintenance, accountants)
• Automation rules and scheduled WhatsApp/email messages
• Custom branding, profile photo

What is retained, and why

• Guest registration records (SES): Retained for 3 years as required by Royal Decree 933/2021 (Spanish guest data registration).
• Financial records: Retained for 7 years as required by Código de Comercio Art. 30 (Spanish commercial code).
• Audit logs: Retained for 1 year for security and dispute resolution.

Timeline

Your account is deactivated immediately. Permanent erasure of deletable data completes within 30 days. Retained items above are kept only for the legal periods listed.
